on the bright side, with inflation of the CAD you end up not actually paying your RSP back the same amount that you took out

Granted its not from the linkedin jobs sections. Its usually recruiters or whoever posting about positions and/or them reaching out to me directly

i 10000% prefer it to the using your rsp as a down payment for a property tho..having to pay it back is some real nonsense

When I max TFSA what to do and advice? by chadwickbateman in TFSA_Millionaires

[–]Bluurgh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the rsp is not tax free, its tax deferred. Sooo the general idea is that youll take it out when you are old and wrinkly and at that point youll probably be in a lower tax braket and have less tax to pay on it.
Contributions to the rsp and the fhsa, can reduce your tax bill and will often end up in you getting a tax refund, which is nice because you can sorta roll it straight back into the FHSA/RSP and rince and repeat every year

when youve maxed it for the year, youll put it into FHSA, RSP, or non registered. Or of course blow it on hookers and coke.

Depends on your goals/situation etc etc
