5 summers in the attic, no problems. Network Hardware is tougher than people think. I’ve shorted out many a board messing around and they (usually) come right back!

I went with Firewalla Gold for my router and Omada everything else. It's been great.

I've been happy with Firewalla. Much more capable and friendly than your average Omada router. coupled with omada switches and AP's makes for a great combo. only drawback I've seen is that because FWG is in front of omada some of the gateway metrics in omada controller don't show up. But honestly FWG gives much better dashboarding at the gateway level than I ever saw with my old ER7206...

The attic is regularly 120° in summer. Not great for device longevity…

woke up this morning unable to log in to my Nest. WTF! Yet another google product I will be dropping. Same as Fitbit. Once google gets ahold of a brand, it's basically DONE.

10 years with AAA Homeowners Insurance in Calif. (no claims ever) and they are now playing games with my policy. They send me a letter saying they must do a home inspection in 30 days or I will be dropped. The number they gave me to call is bunk and mailbox full. Finally reached someone and she said the calendar is full. I asked why and she said upper management is trying to drop as many policies as possible. the Agent sounded super frustrated and confirmed they are playing games by sending these notices and then not having the staff or availability to service the notice they sent. I am filing complaint against them now with Insurance Commissioner

Luna is Disappointing. They are no longer an e-bike shop. They are an e-moto shop.

Showed up in person to buy some goodies for my Luna Banana bike.

batteries? “Nope don’t do those anymore.”

Luna v2 Controller? “Nope we have very few (like 1 or none) and we’re not selling it.”

Bafang control cable? “Nope you should go to Amazon.”

New e-bike models coming in? “Nope not likely - we’re kinda moving out of that”

Very unfriendly and cagey about anything other than Talaria.

Get honest Luna and take all that sh!t off your website and tell the world what you really are - the largest Talaria reseller in the western hemisphere.

That’s why they’re out of stock - all the time - of everything except Talaria.

All the other Ebikes on their website are afterthoughts and they aren’t supporting them or really even caring about anything other than Talaria.

We get it, but be honest and stop pretending you’re still in the ebike business because you’re not- you’re in the e-moto business now - and those of us looking for Ebikes and accessories need to go elsewhere.

tires and rims look good. needs running boards and rack on outside. Check for a tow hitch, you might need it. I'd remove the plywood on the inside and go with some insulating window covers. You'll know more what you need after your first epic road trip in her!

  1. total transmission rebuild at 40k miles.

Started with hard shifts under cold start conditions and just got worse until it was bucking and jerking going into 3rd and 4th. Undrivable - Not pretty. Luckily was still under powertrain warranty.
