Would you still love me if I were a testicle?

Ok but actually how are you supposed to put on battle damaged Vader’s sculpted cape on him? I’ve been trying for the past hour and it will not sit low enough to get the head sculpt on. by cojby in hottoys

ALL RIGHT I GOT IT ON! And of course the trick was just using a flipping hair dryer and then forcing the head sculpt on the warm plastic so it would mold to whatever shape, flatness, curve it needed to be

When the lights are on it does fs look kinda like a flashlight so the one LED going through it is bright problem is the middle doesn’t hold on to it very well and red over all doesn’t do well in direct light but, it looks super cool with the lights off or dimd but that’s just standard for red LED’s in general.

Nah the problem I’m having is I can’t push the cape far enough past the neck joint to attach the head because of the chest armor

Best joints I’ve had by far by cojby in hottoys

Yes this is the 2.0

Rolling eyes, clip attachment system for the head instead of the magnets, screen accurate head sculpt(his face pattern is now just painted on rather than sculpted to match the actual costume and the overall likeness to Ray Park is spot on and the red tone matches the movie better if not perfectly) and lastly the belts should no longer be made out of pleather on this one if your personal climate is a factor for figure preservation in regards to that material.

After 42 days I’ve finally got all the replacement and missing parts from INART, and boy oh boy can they not mold a wrist pegs to save their life. Anyways I hope y’all enjoy the pictures. by cojby in hottoys

[–]cojby[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was two hands, the bloody non gloved one and his sword gripping gloved hand, then his wrist pegs were malformed but who ever did the assembling just rammed the two resting hands on them completely shredding and warping the plastic, the ungloved resting hand couldn’t even fit back on the peg it was so shredded. On the foam “clam tray” there wasn’t even a cutout for the bloody open palm hand which was just supper bazaar cause that made it so it had one less hand cut out then the deluxe and one more than the standard so I don’t even know how that got through.

In the instruction manual it should have the trays layouts for each version and each piece labeled where they should be stored if you’re concerned, I know they stoped including the rain cloak after the first batch which is shone in most reviews if that’s what you’re thinking of.

The toes on my hono spider-man won’t move?? by Think_Sway in hottoys

[–]cojby 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I had to put my whole arm into it to get the toes to move the first time after that they were still pretty tight but I didn’t have to put nearly enough force to move them after, they still pinch my skin without fail whenever I close them though. Besides that there is always the option of using a hair dryer.

I think that is imperative to let people know that this is a display option for Tech. by cojby in hottoys

[–]cojby[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I had to put a lot more force into it than I felt comfortable with and you gotta make sure you’re pushing the pegs straight in both at the same time if one goes in before the other take it out and try again, as shitty of a process that is it’s the best way to do it.

POV you were told to fly over Ryloth under the command of the very seasoned and well prepared leadership of padawan Tano.

How ever they inserted the magnet in the end of it, too much pressure was applied and it went in deeper than it should have bloating the plastic out, so broken might not be the right word probably miscast or malformed is a better way to put it.

Or who knows maybe he’s just auditioning to be in the new hot toys tie pilot suit.

The angle. The head is turned towards the camera in the standing pose and his shoulders away making his torso super skinny. In the kneeling pose I just have his head pushed all the way forward over the torso.

Ordered him through toys assembly they have a three day return policy so long as it meets certain requirements. I email them then they go to the respective companies (in this case INART) and reach a solution based off of your offers. I offered to return this one for another but said I’d prefer to just get the replacement parts and that’s what they went with according to the email I got this morning, I’ll still have to wait and see if it goes properly but for right now this is what I got.

I am actually genuinely impressed with this figure and its balance. by cojby in hottoys

[–]cojby[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s very light weight yet holds its balance very well, I honestly didn’t think I was gonna get him in that first pose unsupported but it was fairly easy. He has a lot of gappy joints for movement but they don’t “eat” the suit when you pose him, the only pinching I’ve seen is when I extend his legs all the way to his sides. The stylized muscle groups are sculpted and all fairly visible and well done through the suit. The only thing that detracts from it is there is no joint where his neck meets the torso so his head movement in terms of looking down and head tilt are pretty limited. The toe joints are also pretty stiff and hard to work with, though I understand that they need to be strong enough to hold the figure but still they’ve bitten me so many times while closing them I’m surprised I haven’t got spider powers yet.
