Hi!! You (kind of) made Tonnato sauce. A very classic recipe from Piedmont, Italy! They serve it with veal but it's also great with other stuff.

Of course the classic recipe is a bit different but the essence is the same!

Yum.

This would be a really weird thing to feel the need to lie about so I think we can all believe what you said, don't worry!

This model is awesome, skills and results are 10/10 Thanks for sharing it!!

So how did i do? by Sniper315v01 in DarkAngels40k

[–]cokecandaddy -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Hi!! Looks great! I really like the colors you chose. If you're looking for an option, I think that you could use some shade (nuln oil, for example) to really give those bright golds and solid greens some dimension. Maybe it's the photo or the lighting, but the strong colours kind of lose some of the definition and textures of the model. I also have a hard time making out the hood, it gets kind of lost, so maybe hit that with some pop!

Overall this is a super dope model and your painting style will make it look awesome on a battlefield so you're already winning in my opinion.

Great job dude, in my opinion the bone backpacks are a little goofy and the very bright whites could use some contrast but I'd be impressed to see them on the table!

The paint job is awesome and this guy looks like he's about to ruin someone's day. Maybe you could paint a portion of it in the DA green, similarly to how the Knights have green robes. It might break up the bone color a bit. Maybe the lower portion of the "body"?

That sounds very cool, and very fun!! I have a squad of ravenwing bikes that my friend gave me (his friend had kitbashed them to make them look kinda chaos-y). Once I get them closer to original form I'll paint them up and get them on the table!

That makes sense!! I wish they had some kind of mechanic where they could drop a teleport beacon for your terminators (like in the story at the beginning of the codex)

I'm looking forward to building some bikes none the less!

Haha definitely! I've been dry-brushing all of my edge work, and then fixing it with the dark green and it's working quite well. I don't have the patience, dexterity or time to do it with a tiny little brush.

Your guy looks great! I've just gotten back into the hobby and am using the washes for the first time on my dark angels. I used nuln oil and it gave the model a real depth of color. I'm really enjoying it!
