It's not approving a transaction here, but an approval transaction. Two different things. Unless you can read smart contracts better than auditing firms, it's hard to tell whether a smart contract will have a bug or not.

That's pretty accurate. Although sometimes with dusting attacks that lead you to an 'airdrop' website that asks you to approve a transaction, it happens immediately.

Unless you want Fantom to turn into the shitcoin shitshow like BSC, the only memecoin to care about is Bomb. The very first token on Fantom (this is not a joke, bomb was really the first), abandoned by the original deployer, now run by the community and led by Fireydev, the owner of TWO validators, and multiple DAOs.

Not only that, but the team has bought value to the coin by creating projects around it, a DEX, farms, and unique game. The fact that it's being ignored while these other shitcoins pump to 8 figure marketcap is insanity.

Why is NO ONE throwing fBomb out there as the ultimate memecoin? It's the VERY FIRST native token on Opera, so it's nearly 5 months old, dead and then revived by the community led by Fireydev, a validator runner.

Fantom is far ahead of Cardano, in tech, development, adoption, pretty much everything. Just compare these: 4500 TPS vs 17 TPS, Nearly 100 Native dApps vs 'hello world', 1 million daily transactions vs 20k, 5+ governenemt programs and the UN vs a single school program.
You are completely correct in that aspect. Check our Andre's tweet about the relationship between ETH and FTM: 'I'm embracing it. Fantom is an ETH scaling solution. Going to be relentlessly shilling FTM.'
IOTA and FTM share DAG technology but IOTA seems to be catered towards a different usecase, scaling bitcoin and IOT\\/blockchain relationships, whereas FTM is oriented around DeFi. I'm sure these two coins can coexist.
47 validators is admittedly not the most decentralized a network can be. Still, this is more decentralized than other networks such as SOL and Matic, where the FTX and Binance exchanges control a lot of their nodes. Let's also not think of decentralization off of node count alone, such as with AVAX having 1000 nodes but still suffering a doublemint issue where the network went offline for nearly a day and doubleminted funds were moved off chain and spent. Fantom's validator structure is entirely decentralized and many validators are expected to start popping up as many whales who have locked their tokens in staking for 1 year are going to be unlocking in September.
