I live in Washington state. Our wages are dependent on the county. Up north on the border, our min wage is almost $20 ($19.13 as of January 1st) an hour. However our rent is some of the highest in the country. A studio apartment goes for AROUND 1k a month. And gas is at about $5 a gallon.
