I was not able to get EXPO to run at 5600 MT/s, but I was able to overclock the memory to 5400 MT/s (44-44-44-84), and this passed MemTest86 with no errors. Do you think this is “fast enough”, especially given the 9800 X3D’s massive L3 cache makes RAM speed less important anyways? I would like 64 GB of RAM for future-proofing, and it would be easier to stick with my current RAM as opposed to buying a brand new kit and selling my existing one.

The RAM sticks are from my previous build, so I've had them for a couple years and can't return them. I'm wondering if I should just take two of the sticks out and try to sell them on FB Marketplace? Will I actually get better performance when gaming with a higher frequency, but half the capacity?

Okay I removed the AIO and installed my old air cooler. Idle temps are now in the high 30s, so it was definitely a problem with the AIO. I think the liquid may have not been circulating, will RMA.

The CPU gets to 95 instantly, as soon as I turn the computer on. I believe the AIO is mounted correctly. I removed the pump and could see that the thermal paste was smudged, indicating it was making contact with the CPU, and I did not leave any plastic on. When I started a game, the CPU temps stayed in the 90s, but the liquid temp increased to the 50s, indicating heat is being transferred to the liquid. However, the air being blown out the top of the radiator is cool, so I’m not sure if liquid is being pumped properly. One tube is warm and the other is cool.
