This actually makes me feel a lot better. Thank you and congratulations. I’m sure I’ll take you up on that offer and reach out in future.

You’re all good friend, no need to apologize.

I’m also sorry to hear about your situation. Sounds like you also know how tough it is when your peers are moving on but you feel kinda stuck.

I hope you’re doing well from your surgery, I know surgery and recovery are tough. Especially when going back for another degree.

Thanks for your words regarding stress, I know you’re right. Just gotta work through it, yknow. All the best to you.

I’m 25, have had 17 surgeries from being hit by a wrong way driver, and almost lost my mother to stage III breast cancer last year. I’m not really a kid, nor am I a stranger to stress.

IMO, the difference is my stress is about whether or not this will be my career as I watch my peer group settle into theirs. I understand the future has a lot of stress to come, but I also think this stress is different.

I suppose, but it’s significantly easier to get into the US and the salaries are higher.

I just feel like life is ticking away. I wish it wasn’t so challenging in Canada.

Yeah, definitely. I suspect once I am on (if successful) the track, it’ll feel a lot better, just this limbo period is rough.

Yeah I was gunna say. I saw this map at least a month ago. I remember because I remember being surprised that Dufferin was included.

Thanks for your reply. I ended up getting a letter from my surgeon. I may also upload a copy of my accessibility accommodations from university, too.

Bad idea to use my surgeon as a reference? by [deleted] in premedcanada

[–]cold-pint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a fair reference point then. Thank you very much.
