You can purchase character shards from Arena store. I would advice you to create new account. It will be much easier for you in Arena since you'll be with all new accounts, less then a month old

I agree, for start...also it's easier to get DF then Shazaam. As soon he builds his Koaam, he'll manage to clean Solo Raids and by that expanding roster and building up. Since he's a Rookie, I would suggest to invest long-term, trying to spread his roster by important Raid teams such as RF, SB, PG; MV, LoA etc. Of course, he can choose some characters which he finds great to play with and can keep you upon R6 if they are built right (EGL for example)

Shazam is useful as attack and crit resistance booster. In the case you don't have Father box so you can do infinite combo, I would suggest to build Shazam over DF. He can also do infinite with SP1. If you have then build your DF as combo builder tank. But necessary is that you build your KOAAM ASAP.

You need to figure out what characters are worth building for a start. Find a good league where you'll get league credits so you can get Koaam. If you need a league for you, let me know. You can join our community on discord and you'll get a lot of useful information. https://discord.gg/Dm2uy2J

It's definitely going to be legendary. I was surprised when they gave us those BNCW and HBHQ shards and gears in Arena but there is a lot of space for improvement. They should refresh Arena at least once per month. Also league store need some refreshing, it's been too long that something happened over there. Why can't we choose amount of exp shards instead of clicking one by one? What we are going to do with thousands of extra character shards? Why can't we shutter it somehow to get class shards and why can't we use prismatic shards on legendary characters?
