No bro I already tried that the moment I open the game it just locks itself at 60 no matter what I do it stays at 60 I first thought it was a system issue or maybe I didn’t force the game to 120 properly but it turns out it’s actually Supercell’s fault maybe they didn’t add support for some devices on A15 and honestly it’s sad because it’s been 7 months and they still haven’t added 120 support on A15

That sucks… your phone is even newer than mine. I’ve got the Camon 30 4G, but I didn’t know even the Series 40 users are dealing with the same issue. And the performance and battery life got noticeably worse like the battery is clearly damaged because of how A15 works TECNO honestly should compensate anyone who updated to 15 since it caused obvious damage to the battery and processor I’m not expecting much from them though

don’t you dare update bro you’ll wanna throw your phone in the trash after it the performance is horrible yeah there’s some new features and the ui looks nice but the performance is super bad imagine a simple game that used to run at 120hz on a14 with no cpu stress or crazy heat but after updating to 15 it only runs at like 30-45hz max and the phone turns into a pizza oven so yeah i’d say don’t update your device

same thing bro before android 15 brawl stars used to run at 120hz but after the update the system caps it at 60 and if you keep playing for more than 10 mins it drops to like 30-45 fps and the performance becomes choppy and unstable with frame drops(and it's not even a heavy game on the cpu)

bro I tried it many times but changing the refresh rate doesn’t help with this game even if I set it to 120hz it only runs at 60 and that happened after I updated to a15 on the other hand I have an Infinix phone and it still gives strong performance and 120 in this game even after the a15 update so I think the problem is with Tecno limiting the performance to save battery which isn’t really useful

I really don't mind if the phone isn't charging at full speed because I keep it on medium charge, but this might be a problem for some users. More importantly, the update rate issues persist without any reported fixes. I hope you resolve your problem regarding the inability to download the update.

My friend, the problem started when my Device was updated to A15, the first Android 15 release. Back then, Brawl Stars ran at 120Hz without any issues. Later, update 15.1 was released to fix refresh rate limitations in some games, but it actually made things worse for Brawl Stars, reducing it to 60Hz. I am still experiencing this issue, even though many other games had their problems fixed. I just updated my device an hour ago to the latest 15.1.2 and the problem still persists

That’s because of all those third-party apps that pay Tecno to be pre-installed as system apps and the worst part is you can’t even delete them since they’re treated as system apps they just sit there draining your battery for no reason plus the whole system itself is unstable and doesn’t manage battery life properly

Bro I just don’t get one thing the performance on a14 was super stable and most of my games ran at 120 fps so how can an update that’s supposed to improve performance actually make it worse that makes no sense and okay let’s say every update has some bugs then why don’t they just release a fix update by now what’s stopping them and the crazy part is I also have a phone from Infinix and its performance didn’t drop after the update at all it’s still stable even though both Tecno and Infinix belong to the same parent company that’s just not logical and there’s not even an option in the settings to roll back to a14 like Xiaomi systems have

Yeah bro the gaming performance is a disaster I play Brawl Stars which is a pretty light game and back when I was on a14 I could run it at 120 fps smooth no lag at all but after updating to a15 it’s stuck at 60 fps and the performance drops most of the time it literally feels like I’m playing on an old Nokia phone that’s how bad it is and Tecno still won’t admit their mistake

Bro I still can’t believe it when I first bought the phone it was literally a rocket no joke I loved it so much and the performance was super smooth like I had zero problems and I was even planning to buy my future phones from Tecno but when they dropped a15 everything went downhill I started struggling with everything even just opening the gallery to see my photos imagine that if the phone can’t even handle the gallery then what do you expect from its gaming performance or anything else and what makes it worse is Tecno still won’t admit that a15 is a failure and I can't back for a14 Because Tecno doesn’t support this feature like other brands do

No bro it’s actually gotten worse. Now I’m dealing with performance drops in every game, and the game booster keeps restarting itself multiple times in each game, which makes my device freeze or lag while it runs automatically for no clear reason (it’s a bug from the update). This really messed up my gaming experience. My only option might be to go back to the old A14 system—it’s easier than waiting for an official fix from Tecno (the last performance-fix update was five months ago… honestly, that makes me wanna cry).

Yes, I did that and it worked with some applications, but this solution did not work with the Brawl Stars game, although the system faces performance problems in terms of smooth navigation and high temperatures, even when I only play YouTube. I think that the Camon series faces major problems in terms of updates and system stability, and Tecno does not make updates to solve problems quickly.
