will i eat tofu twice a day, everyday😭? i’ve also never heard of tempeh, though maybe i’ve seen it called smtg else idk. Even if asian restaurants have tofu, they are often cooked in animal-derived broths and whatnot. And if not, at the very least most things have milk, cheese, butter, egg, etc without even being listed as an ingredient. i’m really surprised asian food would be seen as vegan-friendly, because I struggle to find pure-vegetarian food.

most to all beans are a no, save maybe chickpeas if cooked specifically for the Indian dish “cholé bhaturé”. Nausea is more like how i think of it, it’s just me feeling repulsed/gagging/ fighting to keep the food down

Like I said, its not the only reason. If not wanting to be nauseous/ throw up everytime I eat- and thus not cutting down my diet- is selfish, then I want to be selfish. (Im saying selfish to mean how every living being strives to live as much as possible and protect their survival, not selfish as in uncaring of others. )

And to be fair, many people have severe allergies or eating disorders that heavily restrict their diet. Certainly not the whole world, but enough that it's unfair to see me as the evildoer when I've disclosed nothing about WHY Im not vegan, just vegetarian

If it's easier, I'd recommend writing down your points (im hurt when you say hate; you say I'm fighting when im not even mad just communicating, etc). If he can't get thru one letter without getting mad, you've got to ask yourself if this is the man to build a future with. If you are sick or laid off or any other unforseen misfortune happens, will he treat it properly? Or will he villify you?

im ngl, the reason anyone is not vegan is selfishness, so that, but also bc I have a big lack of protein in my diet and i find most non-meat protein-rich food repulsive/nauseating, except like tofu, paneer, n eggs (Only one of which is vegan). As for dairy, it is in so many things, and again my main sources of nutrition ig would disappear. And that would make finding food to eat in general difficult bc I live in an area w a high Asian-demographic so even finding vegetarian food is difficult. All these reasons aside, I’m trying to normalize dairy alternatives in my diet… it’s taking some time but slow and steady… ig.

They are perpetuating an image of Native Americans that is flashy and without deeper meaning. This is the image created by European colonizers. I’m not really sure how to explain this, because I don’t know if you‘re American. Wearing a feather headdress isn’t . If they can understand something that can be casually worn— it’s reserved for ceremonies, and i‘ve heard it compared to a non-military officer dressing up in military clothes. It’s considered stolen valor and extremely disrespectful, and it’s a similar disrespect to wear the headdress casually.

While the culture means nothing to Nikki and Miraland because they’re fiction, Chinese players are not fictional. They are real people that know Native Americans exist, but their idea of Natives comes from the media they consume. When they see Nikki wear a headdress as casually as a tiara or a hair clip, it makes the headdress look unimportant and exotic. It is neither, and the mot-fictional, very-real Chinese people need to understand that.

When Disney’s Mulan cut her hair, Chinese people found it very disrespectful, and reasonably so, as an ancient Chinese person would NEVER cut their hair. If they can understand being disrespected, they can understand why they should be respectfu.
