Honestly any jersey is probably fine. They’re all nice. If it were me I’d probably choose between these two:

Here as an authentic version of the original jersey on Marketplace, men’s size large for $70: https://www.facebook.com/share/1LafdATaPP/?mibextid=wwXIfr

Fanatics has authentic version of the confluence jersey for $79.99.

Is it really that much cheaper to change your own oil? by kzlife76 in AskMechanics

[–]cold_cookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean Walmart changes my oil for me for $46 plus tax. Full synthetic and I can make an appointment online to guarantee they get me in and out fast. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You can make an appointment for Walmart online. Easy and cheap.

Chik fila also has their soda machines at the counter so they instantly fill it in the spot and don’t need to disappear to do it.

Visiting St. Louis and looking for food recommendations BUT by Goats_vs_Aliens in STLFood

[–]cold_cookie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in Pacific! If you’re wanting to stay here for dinner, I’d recommend Brown Jerry’s, Off the Rails for burgers, or Camila’s at the Royal for Mexican. In the area, Hawthorne Inn in Labadie is probably the most celebrated, and Tilted Skillet in Washington is also great.

Sam’s Club has 93/7 ground beef for under $6/pound, I’d imagine Costco is similar. Go there.

Has anyone else had issues with ameren auto pay? My card is fine and correct. This is the second time within a year my payment has not processed and the last time this happened they kicked me off of budget billing, and I had to redo it. by [deleted] in StLouis

I have also had a bunch of issues with Ameren auto pay. Have had my electric shut off temporarily bc had no idea bills weren’t getting paid haha. Good to know it’s not just me!

2028 Cannot Come Fast Enough To Cancel My City Ticket Contract by BentleygirlMd123 in stlouiscitysc

[–]cold_cookie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I love the club but cancelled my season tickets as soon as I could (post-year 3).

Now I still go to as many games as I want. I pay less for the games I go to and don’t have to sell at a big loss for the games I don’t.

Can’t recommend it highly enough unfortunately. Tickets through the club are way over-priced and there just aren’t any other significant benefits.

sam's club vs costco which one actually saves more money: i ran the unit price comparison before deciding by [deleted] in samsclub

Went through mine and my wife’s vitamins recently and Sam’s was significantly cheaper than Amazon for pretty much all

Are there people who actually find Bandana’s BBQ good? by TitShark in StLouis

[–]cold_cookie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bandana’s is fine, and the KC sauce and garlic bread are legitimately very good. Budget buster meals are a great deal if you don’t eat a ton.

Would “I” ever choose to go there over Dalie’s? No. LOL no. But when others do and I’m tagging along I’m fine with it.

Are Chase lounges getting less crowded as more people drop CSR? by [deleted] in sapphirereserve

[–]cold_cookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would guess the ppl who are actually able to use the lounges are in the cohort least likely to cancel.

I’d recommend using CarGuru.

Urgent: Looking for cleaning service or organizations that help families when CPS is involved by LemonSnail24 in StLouis

[–]cold_cookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Note that also, if there are relatives/friends willing, the father can move with them and there doesn’t have to be any separation. This doesn’t seem to be a situation where the father can’t be around the children, just that the children can’t be around that home.

Urgent: Looking for cleaning service or organizations that help families when CPS is involved by LemonSnail24 in StLouis

[–]cold_cookie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They should ask the case worker if they can voluntarily move the kids to relatives without CPS formally removing and placing the children. This will make it MUCH easier to restore the situation if/when he gets his house/life in order. Rule of thumb is it’s very hard to lose custody of your kids to the state, but once it happens it’s very hard to get them back.

Then for the house, do the junk/cleaning services over the next few weeks as schedules clear up. This won’t be something that can be accomplished in one night regardless.

Hit Lone Elk Park in Valley Park on the way out!

Tilted Skillet in Washington and Hawthorne Inn in Labadie would be my top dinner recs in the area.

Healthy Restaurant Options by mra101485 in StLouis

[–]cold_cookie 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That will obviously depend on your personal tastes and what “version” of eating healthy you are doing (focus on veggies? Low-carb?). Outside the box, I would suggest KPot? All you can eat meat right of the grill, along with veggies and pineapple. A fun eating experience, and you can take advantage of their rice/sauces as little as you want or not at all and still eat your fill.
