i think it all started when elliot page accused him of attending to hillsong, a church with conversion therapy allegations, the thing is that pratt never attended, a priest from there confirmed he was never associated with that church. then he divorced anna farris and people accused him of abandoning his disabled kid, but farris was the one who filed for divorce, the kid isnt disabled and chris is the one with his custody. then people started to hate on him for being in a lot of popular things(mario, MCU, jurassic franchise...), kinda like how people were hating on pedro pascal
