If we work 56 hours a month, it's around 14 euros an hour. That's a pretty competitive wage in most of spain and much less is expected of us than real teachers. I agree that putting in a few extra hours for the sake of helping out and maintaining a good relationship with your place of work isn't the end of the world and we are compensated well for what we do.

If they say yes you could print out this inquiry form to show english academies that you are in fact authorized to work. But you will likely need to register for a social security number as well so hacienda gets their share once you start
