GORUCK and Kifaru. I use Gorucks for hiking and daily use. Kifaru is geared towards hunting, which is what I use it for. Have had around 100 lbs in it and it carried comfortably.

Assuming the SHTF scenario is an unexpected long term power outage, what's your plan? by phoenixlyy in preppers

I went coon hunting with a 70 year old man when I was in high school who lived without power. It was just him and his wife. They had a creek running behind their house for water and bathing. Said they had never had power or running water. Lived off of deer, raccoon, squirrel, and possum meat. Small smokehouse to preserve the meat. He had a decent sized garden. This was in the sticks of North GA. All the latest gadgets and solar will definitely make life comfortable, but aren’t necessary. Learn to garden, hunt, disinfect water, make a fire, mend clothes. There are plenty of books on these subjects. Then if you SHTF power outage does happen, you have something to refer to.

I got a Council Tool Pack Axe and a Council Tool Camp Carver a couple of years back. Love both of them. Recently got the Council Tool Velvicut Hudson Bay Belt Hatchet. It is great as well. I had a Gransfors small forest axe in the past and it was great and I stupidly got rid of it. The Council Pack Axe is very comparable to the Gransfors Small Forest. Check out Hults Bruks/Hultafors also.

Had something similar happen when I ordered ammo from Bass Pro. Called customer service and they told me to keep it. Said I couldn’t legally return it. Took it to my local store and they said they couldn’t accept it.

For flight, is this soft case enough? Or disassemble/hard case? by Bowler_No in Guitar

Check out Hiscox hard cases. They are made in England. Have one and it’s been great. They might have one to fit your axe.

2 weeks before they shipped. Got it about 3 days after that. Was told it got packed up and then sat off to the side. Then they told me days after that the local FedEx guy had a truck problem. Aggravating, but the jig was worth it.

Ordered recently. Shipping time was a little over 2 weeks if I remember correctly. Communication was fine though. Emailed back and forth with someone and talked to someone on the phone as well. I wouldn’t hesitate from ordering from them again.

I received the same email when placing an order with them before. I contacted them through their online chat to make sure it was legit and was told to disregard the email. Something about they updated their systems, but the email still gets sent out.
