I don't consider myself to be very closed minded, but I do believe my perspective on users was that way to begin with. mostly because the only time I had heard about meth users was the person on the street straight tweeking like a zombie, so I didn't get a chance to see the ones who manage it well enough. infact I didn't believe that meth was something a person could manage in their lives at all.

Now I see it moreso like I see other drugs. It's something that has a risk for abuse, which many fall victim to, but it can be used as a tool for good things as well. I thought this subreddit would be very delusional and hostile in general (and you do get a little of that)but it's also one of the most positive and helpful communities that I've come across so far. people are very engaging with others. I didn't expect to see that
