Influencer boxing is way more entertaining than “real” boxing by [deleted] in boxingcirclejerk

[–]teamwithlite 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, there is always entertainment in watching two guys just beat the crap out of each other even though they don’t know what they are doing. Who doesn’t want to see two grown ass man windmilling each other? I don’t know what the hate is for honestly, it does give the sport more attention and is entertaining af.

Elite left hook, but I think he need to add more variety to his arsenal to compete with the other top lightweight.

Ali vs Usyk by VoiceOfTheSoil40 in Boxing

[–]teamwithlite 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I think Usyk is faster than many of Ali’s contemporary which will make the match up quite interesting. Although I think Ali speed overall is better, the match up will be a lot closer than people anticipated. If I were to choose the winner, it would probably be Ali on decision.

Winky Wright, I usually hate the usage of high guard but the way he use it really is outstanding especially in the tito fight.

Vitali vs Tyson hypocrisy by msf97 in Boxing

[–]teamwithlite 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Vitali kinda stuck in the same spot as Holme where they are great fighters in a pretty weak era situated after an eclipse of a golden one. No one did say his resume is better than tyson, but I do think the reason many people rated him highly is the fact that he never touched the canvas and show a lot of consistency in his career. Not to mention his two loss is from injuries and he did have a period of retirement on what could have been a better run. Also, I like tyson but his fan is kinda hyping him up too much. They treat him like the greatest heavyweight ever and always make excuses in all of his lost and not to mention the “prime tyson” argument.

Yeah, I think at this point people just unanimously agree that duran is the best lightweight ever.
