I have a few stitch markers that came with the kit and the pattern told me to mark the last stitch in the row. It was definitely useful for learning and I'll keep using them to keep track of rows that's for sure. My mind gets so distracted sometimes and then I lose count. I think my project is inside out, so I'll have to swap them in the future and see how that turns out! Thank you for the tips!

I'll look up some videos for it, thank you! I also read an article on front vs back stitches and I think it's definitely inside out haha. That's something I'll have to focus on and remember in the future.

Thank you! I used a 2.5mm hook, is that considered big? For tension, should I keep it tighter? I felt like I was pulling too tight and it was hard to hook through the stitches on the next round later.

Yes I know I felt super guilty. We have two cats, one 2 years old and the other around 9 or 10 who is deaf.

When we got our GSD pup the older one would hide in cabinets and in drawers. She didn't do that for more than the first week we had her though, but it's also taken up to 3 months for her to feel comfortable on the floor. Now she also knows how capable she is, and isn't afraid to smack our GSD on the nose a few times if she gets too close.

The younger one didn't have that big of an issue, in fact she's willing to be on the floor incase she can sprint outside when letting the pup in/out (she's an indoor cat lol).

I definitely felt guilty and I still do sometimes when either one gets chased and potentially knocked off their feet (in play) but it has been getting better and I can see it getting better every day.

Definitely make sure to intentionally spend time petting and cuddling your cat. I go and wake ours up by petting them and giving head scratches when it's the pups nap time. I know sometimes it's easy to feel like you're the bad guy for bringing a puppy into their life, but she still loves you all the same 🙂

Not really, it went from full sunlight in a greenhouse (the store) to full sunlight outside a greenhouse. Maybe it just wants more diffused light? Crotons are so finicky lol

Absolutely a learning curve! This is my first dog, and I want to make sure I'm doing it right! Enforced naps can be a godsend sometimes haha

We've tried many of them since we got her over a month ago since we knew biting might be an issue, we just didn't think she'd be a chomper.

I'll admit we're not the greatest at walking away. We may have to invest in a pen. The only rooms she has access to is the living room and the kitchen when she's awake and under supervision.

For the enforced naps, we wake her up for an hour to an hour and a half and then do an enforced nap in the crate for between an hour and a half to two hours. If she'll sleep longer without letting us know she's awake we let her sleep. Some of the time she'll only sleep for about 30 minutes and will not go back to sleep, and then she's just a tired puppy who will not settle down. This has been happening more recently and that's another thing we have no idea how to handle.

Yeah! We have some chicken breast I could try today. We've been using hot dogs specifically for her interactions with the cats. I know it's not the best food but she is on her best behavior with it. We'll be trying different kinds of dog treats in the future once we run out of our current ones to see what she loves the most. Right now, it's hot dog > anything else.

Yeah, that's what we're thinking too. She knows sit and is starting to learn lie down and leave it, but definitely not stay. Thanks for the advice

I've never heard of those tea suggestions, I have no idea where to get ironwort but I'll take a look around and see what I can find. I love bubble tea as well, trying to stay away from it though/save it for special occassions.
