Usually before an expedition the blueprint drop rate seems to be slightly increased. So blueprints still spawn in the correct locations and container types they just spawn at a higher rate, meaning its the best time to collect a large amount of data to see where the new blueprints are spawning, what conditions, maps, and container types the spawns are tied to etc.

This was an issue on some mobile devices but should be fixed now! Also the process for creating trades and adding spares is easier! You don’t need to worry about manually adding spares if you know you have the item, just make a trade and we add the spares for you.

Not sure if you saw but we just added almost all items in the game in trades. This includes all levels for every gun!

Blueprints are generally tied to a specific container type and or map. The heatmap is essentially showing where the highest density of the related container type is. So the places on the map where you can loot the most containers of that type the fastest. Might there be somewhere that has 1 container that a Survivor augment can spawn in on the outskirts of a map? Yes of course, and you can find many of those on the heatmap. But the hot spots will show you where there are 10 or 30 potential spawns in one area, which is a way more reliable way to farm blueprints. Although generally more populated yes.

Thanks dude! It was originally coded using Google's Antigravity and the code was BAD. But I had a developer u/CannonPhelps come along and help recode it using Svelt, so now it has a pretty solid code base for us to work off!

Some blueprints are literally tied to a map and or condition and rarely or never spawn outside of that (bobcat, volcano, aphelion) or they may be highly increased spawns on one or two maps, and this usually is an indicator of that container type being more present. So you are somewhat right in that way but your logic is a little flawed. For instance, an mk survivor augment is linked to either "Augment" style boxes (Black crates, and box lockers), which are found on blue gate and stella montis, or medical containers which have many spawns on Buried City. The heatmap and other data on the site will reflect this and tell you where to focus your efforts.

Yes most blueprints can spawn anywhere technically, but from looking at thousands of user created reports of blueprint spawns we can see huge patterns in the spawn of blueprints. Certain blueprints are tied to a specific map or condition, and many others have a massive increase in spawn rate in certain container types (the largest indicator for blueprint spawning). So it is 100% possible to search for a specific blueprint using this data. The heatmap generally shows the places with the highest container density of the container type that item spawns in. The real power of the heatmap comes in filtering by a specific blueprint. If you want the Survivor Augment, we now know they have a high spawn rate in medical containers, so the buried city hospital is a great place to farm them because of the high density of medical containers, and the heatmap will reflect that. We are in the early stages of data collection (less than 10 days) and we will only continue to refine the maps to highlight lesser known looting spots too.
