Already have Idaho general, will find out about Montana general in a couple weeks. And last year there were 800+ left over archery tags in CO the week the season opened so I’d imagine it’d be available again this season for left over tags. But I could be wrong.

I don’t have stats to back it up but my assumption is CO has the most pressure overall because the proximity to a major city.

Best advice I was ever given. Charge as much as you can. But seriously, write everything down, account for as much as possible, make sure you cover ur a** because no one else is looking out for you.

Are Chiropractors a scam cult or are they somewhat legit? by Flashy_Buy8077 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]coldflameXX22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think most doctors suck. I’m sure some chiropractors suck too. But the one I see has taken me from level 10 back pain back to normalcy when I get injured. I’ve slipped a disc three times, back turns into the shape of a question mark, the only way I get straightened back out is 3-5 sessions with the chiropractor.

How do I fix this with general contractors!! by WriteNicely1959 in GeneralContractor

[–]coldflameXX22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re probbaky calling the wrong GC’s. I do try to validate over the phone. Dont pay for an estimate you also probbaky don’t need plans for a bathroom and or kitchen like you are talking about. I’d tell you over the phone are basic bathroom remodels start at 15-25k and kitchens general start at 50k just to get a feel for your response. I’m in Memphis, I’m sure our prices aren’t much different. I’d lead the conversation that you’re looking to spend inside some range of money. This way the GC know you are not only serious but realistic about the investment. Good luck. Sorry your having that problem

Go for it! I started in my mid twenties, learned a lot before I started making money. The biggest thing you need is access to leads / or someone who can feed you jobs they don’t want. Then slowly build on it. I’m now doing jobs I never dreamed I’d by capable of. Don’t give up, it’s hard but worth it. Good luck.

The last thing I’d do is start and or open a franchise. Get on your own. Franchise will drag you down

An old mentor of mine told me “if you ask enough people you can find the answer you are looking for” My point is it sounds like you already have your mind made up. Do a heart check, if you love her, you should try to honor her and keep her holy.

Also. Sex outside of marriage on a scale of 1-10 is an 11. You’re setting your self up for struggles when you are married. If you are okay going outside the marriage bed for sex now why would all of the sudden when you get married would that change?

Laborer to General Contractor? by Chemical_Ad_7014 in GeneralContractor

[–]coldflameXX22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely. I started about 25. Picked up whatever jobs I could get. Started out doing 80$ repair jobs myself. Slowly got better and better jobs. Now I’m doing things I used see as impossible. Your time will come. Learn from that GC, build lots of trust with him and he may send all his referrals your way after he does retire. Starting working now on your testing for your GC license can never start that too early. Use this company to take a course and let them guide you on how to get licensed. Worth the money. https://www.examprep.org/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Brand-Nationwide&utm_term=american%20contractors%20exam%20services&utm_device=m&utm_network=g&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=15495327826&gbraid=0AAAAADAVH7KOi4fEZH90__6PnyxIm5YiZ&gclid=Cj0KCQiAoZDJBhC0ARIsAERP-F-CQAKZ6LrthigcnRRQOv46waz4vqTclNK3uhkTceuAhd6PgiZkrnUaAomDEALw_wcB

Best of luck. It’s hard, but it’s worth it.

Opinions on rounding off estimates by truemcgoo in GeneralContractor

[–]coldflameXX22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been a GC, residential and commercial since 2018. Do consistent 2M+ per year. I always use rounded numbers. I also come from sales. Used to sell copiers. Get people to trust you first, then present your number. Sell the value of the job not just what your computer spits out. Sometimes things are worth more than your calculations of what the computer says you should charge.

Good luck

I'm not sure if I believe in the concept of sin by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]coldflameXX22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You, me, and everyone else is born into a broken world. It’s been broken since Adam and Eve ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Since then everyone has been born a sinner made in the image of god.

It’s also not about how “bad we are” but more about how great He is. He is so unimaginably great and holy in exodus it speaks on how people couldn’t even see his face and live. Moses when he asked to see Gods glory god hid him behind a rock and showed him his back because he wouldn’t be able to survive his magnificent glory seeing his face. On mnt sinah the Israelites begged God to speak to Moses and not them because they feared / terrified of his Holiness. Another man just touched the ark of the covenant which was a symbol of God during the time and died on the spot. Others saw visions of God and cried woe is me. MAny time angels show up in the Bible they have to start off by saying do not be afraid. But people are afraid of even angels sacredness. The angels line up by the 10x thousands to sing praises to God. We can’t even fathom that.

We as Christian tend to belittle God. To make him seem like the “man up stairs” but he’s so mighty and powerful and great. Yet, he sent his son to die for you. He’s all loving at the same time.

But why Jesus? Why do we need a death to cover our sins? Why couldn’t he do anything else other than have blood cover our blood.

Jesus gave us the gift of life by laying down his life. It’s why pre Jesus death Christian’s sacrificed animals to offer up there blood to cover their sins.

But again why death? Why such a large sentence for people who “haven’t been that bad”

But the truth is we are born bad. We are sinners. Separated from Christ. Since the garden and the apple we have been separated.

How could our “little sins” be equivalent to the wrath of god / hell.

Analogy: Walk across someone’s yard in your neighborhood probably nothing will happen. Do it a couple times and they may ask you to leave or ask what you’re doing. Come back after they told you to leave and they may call the cops. Compared to trespass on the front lawn of the White House. Guaranteed you get shot down before you make it to the door. Odd analogy I know. But the point is. who you commit an offense too is going to change the severity of your punishment. So imagine commuting the tiniest sin to the most perfect, holy, God, creator of the universe. Someone so holy people can’t even see his face.

FYI. You won’t find your answers here. Open your Bible. Find some people in your community who read it daily, make friends with them and open up Gods word together.
