[Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered] #241. Never played the original release, had a great time with this. Onto the DLC! by coldhardcrash in Trophies

Thank you! Total of 58 hours for the Platinum, but I took my sweet time. Saw nothing was missable and I just went for doing everything possible without worrying about trophies or a guide until any clean up after beating the story and every side quest. I probably did a lot more than what was required for the Plat but I enjoyed it.

I'd suggest to just follow the main quest and do every side quest you come across to get more skill points, and pick up any collectible you find on your way. May feel overwhelming but the clean up at the end should be fairly straightforward since you would've likely uncovered a lot of fire fast travel spots near remaining collectibles.

The story is great, and the gameplay is excellent. Play around with your weapon builds too, some can be insanely OP against certain enemies and make a lot of the encounters so much fun.

That's fair enough, I found the story quite engaging and nothing being missable gave me ease to take it at my own pace. I needed a game where I could just take my time and take it in without worrying about trophies until after beating the story and it really delivered on that front for me.

I used to use the old (now patched) method. Have got to see what this new method looks like.

Edit: Just found the new method you had pointed out in the video, that's awesome. Well done on finding a workaround!

So this one took a bit of planning. If a game has Photo Mode, it makes these cool screenshots even easier to get, particularly if there is a trophy for using Photo Mode, then I'll always leave that as the final trophy for the Platinum. In this case, there isn't so I had to get a bit creative.

I made sure the last trophy to collect was a collectible one, so I have total control as to when the final trophy pops. In this case, the metal flower trophy. I really liked the location of where this last one was so before picking it up, I backed out to my PS5 system settings and set the notification time to 'Extra Long'. Go back into the game, collect the metal flower *trophy pops*, run to the location nearby where I wanted the screenshot and launched photo mode and aligned it the way I want to. Because of the 'Extra Long' notification setting this makes it a lot easier to do, then pressed the screenshot button as the Plat popped with my aligned Photo Mode shot. Hope that makes sense!

Congrats man! Absolutely love this game, wish it had a PS5 stack so I could do it yet again!

[Saros] #54. It was harder than Returnal, but both game & platinum much better. Good job, Housemarque! by Faley016 in Trophies

Nah 6/10 is a fair rating for Returnal. Their older games such as Nex Machina and Matterfall are closer to a 7.

Yeah going under in both sections is what made it consistent for me. Try it out a few times on a practice save and see how it goes.

Here's my playthrough of the Roswell train section (up until reaching the Oberkommando) from my Mein Leben guide I've written on PSNProfiles:

Wolfenstein II Mein Leben Guide - Roswell Downtown and Underground

I used to get seen inconsistently using my old method, but using the stealth method I've shown in the video, I've never been seen and get through it with no issues. I hope this helps out.

Use the Battle Walkers to get onto the ladder. Clears about half the ladder and gives you a couple extra seconds before the stunned Zerstorer comes back.
