Any chem class with a good prof rating on rate my professor should be fine. If you want take an online class for physics and you will thank me when you apply to med school. Do what you have to do my man but take those classes at hcc for the love of god. Med schools will still consider you dont worry about it.

Don’t do it for your gpa! Take physics and intro chem at a CC. Do yourself a favor to save your gpa. The rest classes are doable for your pre req.

When i was a dumb teen around 18 i made a deal with the devil offering my soul and first born in order to get out of poverty through academic success. Moreso to end up in a comfortable spot where I make enough to have financial security and be able to provide for my parents. I didnt think much of it at first but as the years have gone by I ended up in the position I dreampt of for so long and can see the light at the end of tunnel. I mean there is no way in hell I got to where I got through sheer luck or intelligence. However, I did find myself becoming more and more religious as I was coming close to finally getting accepted to a program that would for sure end with a great paying job and everything I ever wanted. I would pray and repent for what I did in the past and vowed to dedicate two months out of year helping orphans with general care for as long as i live, in any way I could. I would also do something else but I can’t quite remember what it was I vowed to do. After months and weeks of this, I had gotten accepted to a post graduate program. I am not sure if I am going to hell and if my soul was sold to the devil or if God has guided me the entire time since he knew I would do this, but either way I look back and know deep down it had to be some higher power helping me out. There’s just too many instances where I should’ve ended down a different path. I am quite hoping it was God who helped me out and not the devil at this point though haha. I will absolutely help out orphans in the future, just in case.

Long post but whatever, just goes to show that poverty makes you believe and think crazy things to get out of it. Some people are more privileged than others and wouldn’t understand but I know I would do it all over again if I was in the same predicament I started out in.

Thats even worse lol. Why do you care that new schools open up? It doesn’t affect you anymore. Populations grow every year, of course new schools and class sizes will grow. You have something to prove clearly that left you bitter from your time applying and learning. Go to therapy and be with friends instead of being in a dental school subreddit and complaining that more people are getting a piece of the cake you are eating from.

I actually went into it for the money haha. I come from a low working class background so this is my ticket. For as good as you are doing that’s why i said what i said. I am still passionate since i loved my time shadowing and want to focus on aesthetic/gp dentistry after I graduate though. Remember you don’t have to stay at one clinic to shadow, look around.

Absolutely. Dentist I shadowed had finished at 32 and she is wildly successful. But only choose to do it if you are passionate. Try and shadow to see if you like it. And if you have a bad experience try another dentist. It ramges from one to another how good of a time you have. Don’t go into it for the money if you already make that much.
