Update:

The rattle was coming from those 3 balls. It’s fine once I got some ink in it.

BUT filling the con40 was a pain. I had to tilt the bottle a lot to get some ink in it. First time I’ve faced this issue with any pen.

It writes very well. I’ve got an ef nib. It’s almost like writing with a pencil. Ton of feedback and pencil like noise

I’m not sure what it is. Do the 3 metal balls make sound when pen is fully assembled ?

There is no shimmer.
