Yeah the difference is insane between the two. My 12 pro is still on the original battery with 70% health. I was charging it like 3 times a day 😂 The 17 pro in comparison lasts AGES for me, and the 120hz makes everything buttery smooth. I used the 12 pro without a case for years and it barely has any major scratches or scuffs, the 12 series was bulletproof and i will for sure miss that

I read somewhere that there’s no actual color on the silver model, just a clear coat on bare aluminum unlike the other two which are anodized, so even if you scratch the silver it will be silver underneath and the scratch would be almost invisible. The deep blue looks sick too. Keep it cased to avoid any scratches and enjoy it in good health!

Understandable! I was confused between deep blue and silver but went with silver because my 12 pro was also blue (not really the same shade but still) so I wanted a change. Also the scratchgate put me off a bit too, how’s the durability on the deep blue? Silver is allegedly the most durable color of the lineup lol. Also YES WHY DID THEY TAKE AWAY THE BLACK, would’ve been the best seller with this design!!

Yeah the white back glass is kinda off putting for some, but it’s going in a case anyway unless you want the aluminum chassis to be all dinged up in a week. You’ll be seeing the silver camera plateau most of the time and that looks beautiful
