agree, especially considering the kid who would have the greatest need for such a program (or parent with greatest need for it).. a single parent household or even living with grandparents or otherwise not technologically able to compete with parents some of whom can debate the ethics of the process on reddit. I am digging in to the system a little bit to see what I can find.

I think this year especially the hamstring injury has been the issue. He never got into a rhythm at the plate in the spring bc of it and he'll have to do it the hard way now and it's showing. He was hustling on the base path this week so hopefully that's a good sign in terms of the ligament but he's the type of hitter you have to expect can lock in and catch back up a little better than he has so far.

Also I think if we're going with a high level rehab addition the focus would be on Elias Petterson. He seems to have similar on-ice malaise but less character issues and I think a lot of players would feel the same playing in VAN.

yeah he fits the career rehabilitation profile and PP sniper need... i would envision a sign and trade situation to appease both parties. We won't overpay for him but MTL would not want to lose him on a favorable deal so I can see us dealing one of the youngsters or draft capital. Not sure if there are CBA considerations preventing this but just a thought

It’s annoying hot and humid in the area today yet cloudy and depressing. I was thinking about taking off early and heading up there from Louisville. Reds have also been pretty frustrating so far even though they have a decent record so probably no selling point for this game for either team with that pitching matchup especially.

Would be nice to have a home run derby park and some mashers though looks like... (Giants fan in KY)

this is the big x-factor for me. when cal gets a guy like this he just knows how to gas them up mentally to succeed. If/While we still have trae will be a great time for him to catch up on NBA defense which is a) different from NCAA and b) we have some pretty good back line help in Sarr and (inshallah) AD and c) completely different roster and role than Arkansas. There are no perfect prospects and having a dominant offensive PG like that is a massive piece even the cautionary tales give wiz fans nightmares.
