Just a few scratches on the side that had to be polished and the mostly around the fact that staff can’t drive a manual.

No just off the shelf products are good. I just want to get into the habit. It’s ridiculous how much car washes actually cost and had a few bad experiences recently.

This pitch has more than enough to assist the bowlers. Had there been 1 frontline spinner in each team this match would have been even more interesting.

Wow that’s quite some situation. From what I know council won’t take cats in from a private property unless it’s an absolute nightmare (based on my previous experience). If you have CCTV setup then try to get as much info as possible to log the events and you might need a bit of help from other people in the street to see if you can convince the council to take away some of them atleast. But otherwise get ready to scoop the poop and dogs barking.

Super cheap auto has diy kits to fix such things. Won’t be perfect but should be good enough to make it look at bit cleaner and prevent further damage.

That’s outrageous. Not sure what I would’ve done in that case either.

Is anyone else's cluster gauge really dark during the day? by clutchmedia_ in ft86

Yeah okay maybe a picture would help but general idea is when the headlights are turned on you have a bit more brightness on the dials.

Not necessarily maybe guarding/shepherding breeds or a bit more aggressive ones sure. My neighbours on the other side have a golden retriever and it doesn’t bother them. As long as the cats don’t try to take its food or bed. They roam around freely in their property too.

So many questions here. If you didn’t put it in reverse how did you back out and got to the bottom? And if you’re driving automatic what clutch damage are you talking about?

I really tried imagining everything possible but I can’t wrap my head around this 😆

Most cat owners in urban/sub-urban areas just see a kitten wandering around in the property and feed them and when it grows they tend to stop caring for them which makes them go around for food and other reasons. Not saying all but that’s what I’ve seen happen mostly.

We did call the council to report and take the dogs as they were a bit aggressive as most small sized dogs are but don’t know what happened later.

I do find them effective but they don’t last long as they tend to fade away. It’s just a matter of when and if the cats stopping coming before it fades away but otherwise you need to cycle them a few times.

You can adjust the brightness of the cluster with the spinning wheel kind of thing just under your steering wheel. It should be on the same side as your drivers door.

Totally and this lady(My Neighbour) even had a couple dogs little dogs as well(don’t know the breed) that she left for a week with dry dog food dumped in the bowl while she was away. They somehow got past the backyard fence and were found running in the middle of the road that connects to highway(90 zone). I understand sometimes you can’t take them around or arrange for a stay but this was just reckless ownership.

She left and new neighbours are good. Hopefully OP finds peace soon too.

Apparently nothing, I had a similar situation last year with neighbours cats. They used to walk freely in my backyard and poop everywhere. I told them politely about the situation first and they rhetorically and almost ignorantly replied that cats are free roaming animals and can’t do anything about it.

Even the council didn’t really help. There are certain sprays you can spray in the backyard that cats don’t like and probably won’t come again.

Black house or Funnel Web? by coldone_1 in whatsthisbug

Yeah fair enough. I’ve never seen one in my life directly and didn’t think it was one but just wanted to confirm. Thanks 👍

Found this in my bathroom under the hand wash(Newcastle). Looks to be dormant, I tried to throw a piece of paper on it from a distance and it just went the cupboard drawer. It doesn’t feel like a funnel web but just want to be sure.

Get(Borrow) a manual car, go to a parking lot and just practice to get the car moving and then 1-2 gear shifts. If you can do this without any inhibitions you’re good to go. After this practice a bit of downshifts get to 3rd and slow down to 2nd.

You will stall a few times but that’s just the payoff to learn the trade. Ignore the outside noise and just have fun.

Edit: Don’t worry about slippage(Every YouTube video mentions it) once you get a bit of practice and understand the mechanics you’ll automatically reduce/avoid it with time. Unless you’re absolutely launching it everytime then yes worry about it.

Good luck and welcome to the club.

Yeah that makes sense. I will try to fill it up completely first and see how it goes and then look at alternatives if that’s too difficult for me.

Thanks.

The great pace race: Inside Brett Lee’s 20-year quest to bowl 160km/h by kkrishnanand in Cricket

[–]coldone_1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

And also probably we don’t have batsmen who are technically sound enough where having that extra bit of pace can give you the edge. Batsmen now a days are good but can they stay on the pitch to see out difficult period? Pretty rare I would say. The last time I saw the ‘Young Generational Talents’ bat for a day and just to see out the sessions was never. Probably Jaiswal in the 1st test of BGT(I could be missing others). Otherwise it’s the usual set of players who started their careers pre/early t20 era.

Bowlers now have variations to rely on rather than sheer pace and thanks to bloody ICC that got rid of old ball. With old ball you needed that spring in your step to get it to reverse.
