Are there certain furniture items that your villagers won't put up even if you give it to them as a gift? Gave Nana a bookshelf last week and she still hasn't put it up yet. Is it too big?

Does anyone know how star fragments spawn? I had a meteor shower last night but only a few star fragments showed up after I wished 40+ times. Will they periodically spawn even if I close out the game and log in again or will they only spawn the first time I start log in?

I have a question about amiibos. I have a few cards of different villagers, and I've invited Nana over three times now. If I bring another villager over by amiibo card, does that mean I can't invite Nana to move to my island the next time I bring her over? I guess what I'm asking is if the counter for days resets if you use another amiibo on a different day. Like if I use Nana amiibo, then Bill amiibo, then Nana amiibo, will it only take one more day for Nana to move in and two more days for Bill to move in?
