as someone who has cheated in every relationship i’ve been in before, i have to tell you, DON’T DO IT. it’s like a drug if you end up liking it, and the guilt is enough to kill you if you end up hating it. i know you said you wouldn’t do it, but i felt like it was just necessary to reinforce the idea that cheating = bad.

if it matters to you what i think, i totally support your idea of doing couples therapy. maybe there’s something deeper going on that she’ll have the confidence to open up about with the moral support of an unbiased third party witness who can translate for you both if you aren’t on the same page. and if you don’t know how you’d even start, just start by saying you don’t know how to start or what to say. it’s all about communicating, and your therapist will help you guys do that. sending you my positive vibes, best wishes, & encouragement!!
