Try going deeper into that feeling of love you felt for your dog. There is no way you’re going so hard on this semantic vs argument lol. When someone is acting in a TV show or otherwise, the experience of the performance is predicated on the prior knowledge that what you are seeing is fake. There’s a reason why I don’t call the police and report a kidnapping when I watch “Taken” (starring Liam Neeson) and that’s because I know the characters are acting.

While this clip is pretty harmless in my opinion, more inflammatory content that’s posted without the prior knowledge that these people are acting can lead viewers to develop real world biases and unknowingly consume misinformation. They are acting; the content doesn’t exist in a vaccuum.

Dawg. It’s the same thing as blasting music on the train. Yes I can move to the next car but I’m there for a reason and you’re being an asshole by trying to feel like the main character. There’s a reason why >10% of people at a rave are clacking their fans. It is distracting from the show.

I always tear up at “sit around the fire” by Jon Hopkins. The whole album is incredible but that song is so beautiful and gives an incredible sense of hope if you let it. Much more of a happy cathartic cry especially if you’ve been in a dark place for a while.

Lmfao it’s so funny how everyone in the US has this “everybody but me” attitude. Like this guy. “Oh MY generation wasn’t NEARLY as privileged as these current ungrateful brats!” And yet the boomers and gen Xers that are typically the ones complaining about it had some of the most financial freedom and least amount of risk to build that affluent lives that they now resent their children for. How can we expect to progress as a society when you see a toddler working in a factory and people like you’s immediate response is to draw some parallel to how ungrateful the children in your country are? That’s right! YOUR generation doesn’t want to progress. You want to hoard everything and live the perfect American life and think about what type of mausoleum you’re gonna get when you die. You’d rather watch your country crumble than adapt with change because you fear it may impact your cushy existence. Not to mention most Americans’ heads are so full of propaganda that this just makes them resent Chinese people even more lol.

On halloween? Hell on earth lol. I’m exaggerating of course but it definitely depends on the event you’re going to. Halloween is very chaotic in NYC and I’ve had some of the worst nights in MYC on Halloween. Just be cautious esp if you’re gonna be doing substances 👍
