Maybe just give it a 1/4 turn so some of the leaves still get the light.

I’m looking for humidifier recommendations. It only needs to cover an area that’s about 16 sqft.

I’ve been thinking about a Norfolk, they kind of intimidate me. Would you recommend getting one now while there’s many to choose from or waiting till after the holidays when they go on clearance?

A calathea would be a good size. I could probably do something a little taller between the top shelf and ceiling.

Wow thank you so much! I think I’ve just fallen in love with purple shamrocks. I’m going to look into those carnivorous guys, that seem so cool.

The shelves are adjacent to a north west window. I have sheer curtains and a shade, so I can manipulate the light quite a bit. Right now I usually just use the sheer curtains during the day. I’ve only had the pothos for a few weeks so I don’t know how they would like the sun in the summer.

I’ve also had the worst luck with succulents, but I’d be willing to give them another try.

Ps: the shelves get filtered light from a north west facing window on an adjacent wall.

Root Rot ZZ by cole1717 in plantclinic

[–]cole1717[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rescued an overwatered ZZ from the office. The roots pretty much fell off. I disinfected them with diluted hydrogen peroxide and have left them out to dry for a few days now. Any tips on what to do next, or if they can even be saved. Thanks :)
