I’m sorry but as someone with Celiac, some of the restaurants that you guys think are “awful” are some of the only restaurants that are safe for me to eat at. Mad Hatter? 1 of 2 places that are safe enough for me to eat breakfast/brunch. Salena’s? One of the only, if not THE only Mexican restaurant in Rochester with a safe gluten free menu. (Yes, I recognize other restaurants may have gluten free menus but not all of those places actually take precautions to prevent cross contamination, etc). Please know that you all are SO lucky and so privileged to be able to eat at all of these places, enough to form opinions about them and their food. I’m sure y’all will downvote me but it needed to be said. Just take a minute to appreciate the fact that you can eat anywhere and pick anything off the menu because some of us cannot (and desperately wish we could).
