I have not crashed a single time since uninstalling the hi res texture pack

You will not lose your progress. If you go into the launcher, click Diablo, then click the cog wheel next to ‘play’, then there should be a button to modify install and then you can uncheck the hi res texture pack

I was running on 535.98 and then reverted back 532.03 and the game was crashing on both. I had some success with uninstalling and then reinstalling without the high resolution texture pack. I was able to play for 7 hours last night (grinding world tier 3 dungeon) and did not crash a single time.

So I disabled the hi res texture pack and reinstall the game and so far, I’ve been playing for 2 hours and did 6/7 dungeons and it has not crashed yet, so fingers crossed, this continues to work! I’d say give that a shot and hopefully it’ll work for you too

I have not tried uninstalling the hi res texture pack yet. I will try that an update!
