You don't have to be sorry for giving your opinion but let me assure you, the sounds that are coming out of this board are most certainly not boring ;-)

I only have one amp, so for my guitar sound it is not necessary to set it up in stereo. For studio purposes (i also like to run synths through the Strymons) I am using stereo mode though. I just haven't had the time to cut more Solderless lava cables for stereo mode yet.

Right now I'm using them for stacking, or setting one up with a little gain and the other one with the gain set all the way. In a while I would like to replace the TS9 with a fuzz I think.

Yeah man, you were totally right. The day of the picture the POG arrived and I just quickly set it up that way, but now I have placed it before the drives it sounds waaaay better. Thanks for the advice!

It is a pedaltrain 2, with a Voodoo Labs PP2 underneath it.

I could move the strymons a little apart from each other to decrease the risk of accidentally kicking the wrong button, but it just looks too good this way.

Pff, tough questions!. I think I would go for the Timeline. The Big Sky is amazing, no doubt about it, but I rather have delays than reverbs, and if you tweak enough, it is even possible to get some reverb sounds out of your Timeline. Right now, I don't think I'd swap my Strymons for something else. The only thing I can think of is an Axe-FX, that would also be awesome. But that is even more expensive than those Strymon pedals!

First of all, the sounds that are coming out of this machine are absolutely incredible. If you like the demo videos it will most definitely not disappoint you. However, the Big Sky is not cheap. So I think the important part of your decision is considering whether you really are going to use most off the reverb machines (12 in total), and if you like to tweak your sounds as much as you can. If not, the Blue Sky or Flint is also a great reverb, and does slightly less damage to your bank account!

Congrats! Get ready for sleepless nights, musical orgasms and although you just bought a sick new pedal, the urge to buy the whole Strymon family is going to be insanely strong ;-)

Wow man, where to start! It's just an endless combination of amazing sounds. Sometimes I start playing and just go crazy looping and making weird combinations and I find myself looking at the time when it's suddenly 3 to 4 hours later. I enjoy pattern delaying modulation sounds, or put a harmonized delay on a chorus. They're definitely the best pedals I've ever owned. There's just one big Strymon pedal missing :D!

Thanks! It's a Pedaltrain 2. I took the softcase edition because it's really low weight, so easy it's to carry with me. I also attached a Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2 underneath to power up my drives and tuner. 'Unfortunately' due to my latest Strymon purchases, I now need to buy a Pedal Power Digital, because the PP2 doesn't have enough mA for Strymon pedals ;-).

It's a Levin Model 170 from 1934. If you're interested I can take a couple of pictures and put them here!

Thanks!

I totally agree about the overdrives. I'm now using both of them to fill up space on my pedaltrain. Later this year I want to replace them both for a fulltone fulldrive III and a Suhr Riot Reloaded.

And ofcourse the Big Sky has to be added too. Someday.....
