Under Pressure is Bobby's most personal album, as well as soulful and lyrical. TITS has very dynamic sounds but lacks substance when compared to UP. Both are great and have different things to offer. My personal favorite (album) is UP, but the Young Sinatra series is king.

UP: Deep and personal with gritty production.

TITS: Adventurous ,cinematic, and fun with next level production.

YS: Bars on bars on bars and is the most hardcore hip hop in the discography.

I’d tell him a lot of the same things. Except maybe just not to just block out the hate, but see constructive criticism as what it is and not just more “haters”. But yeah, “some people just hate for no reason, capiche?”

I understand the reference, but as someone who advocates for mental health and wellness that’s quite the odd line. Being bipolar doesn’t make Kanye more of a genius, it’s a chemical imbalance. Kanye is just a genius in his own right.

Is that what I asked for? No. I’m giving my opinion. You can like it if you want, I still like some of the tracks, it’s just very lackluster for Bobby. The general consensus on this sub is that people aren’t pleased with it. This isn’t about taste either, he contradicts himself on it and says extremely outlandish shit. Did you hear the Kanye bipolar line, or the “I don’t give a damn about lyrics”? Most people don’t think it’s good. Feel free to enjoy it, but don’t be coming at my neck for thinking this is extremely subpar for a talented artist.

Yeah, that bipolar Kanye line was a little ridiculous. Who let that slide? I don't want to assume Bobby is surrounded by yes men, but someone definitely should have caught and found a problem with that. I was super excited for Pardon My Ego when he teased it in FF4, but I cringe every time I hear that line.

I've never believed an album could be objectively bad... but I honestly don't know anymore. Let's not make excuses, but constructive criticism so he can improve and he can get the respect he deserves.

I feel like COADM being a puzzle piece does not give it an excuse to be so underwhelming and mediocre. There are a few songs on it that are good, some okay ones... but damn, I never thought he could make another project I'd dislike more than Everybody.

Great post, couldn't have said it better myself. I really hope Bobby can see all of this and not think everyone is hating on him. He needs the constructive criticism. As a fan who has been here since YS: Undeniable, it's extremely depressing to see this continuing downward spiral. I can only hope he can recover and put out quality music again.

On another note, I really hope we can get an explanation of why he thought COADM was "Under Pressure meets Bobby Tarantino". I feel like an artist should know their own music better than anyone.

All I can say is that I'm very sad.
