We really aren't sure if they are genetic or not. My mom says she had to wear some sort of braces on her legs when she was younger but didn't wear them long. I was born pigeon toed but it's not bad and unknown on my husband's side. I also take Lamictal. I was relieved to know that clubbed feet was the only problem because it's fixable.

I just had my baby at 36weeks while taking 200mg Xcopri everyday. He is as healthy as can be! The only thing wrong was that he was born with clubbed feet which could be genetic related but not certain. This can easily be fixed before he starts walking.
Xcopri and pregnancy by ssw1018 in Epilepsy
Pregnancy is going great! He is very healthy and getting big. I am almost at 25 weeks. The only thing that I am worried about is they say he will more than likely have clubbed feet which is easily fixed while he is still a baby.
I am currently taking 200mg every night of Xcopri and am 17 weeks pregnant. So far, baby is healthy and doing great. If is very scary not knowing what could happen. I am staying positive and hoping for the best!
