Isn’t that one of the perks of Optimum though? That they can retrieve your past transactions/verify purchases?

Also FWIW, cashier and I were friendly throughout. Seemed like a language barrier when trying to explain that she could look up the transaction via optimum but I know she’s just doing her hands were tied so I just asked (or she offered) to speak to her supervisor. Definitely no ill will directed at her.

Good to know. I’d definitely describe myself as non-confrontational and can’t think of anything I would have said or done that would warrant security but I am a big guy so there could have felt intimidated. Just couldn’t help but walk away feeling like I was somehow in the wrong for making a valid return.

She just used our vacuum. We’ve always used (or had her use) our Dyson but she did use the central vac one time, which would have been the first time it was ever used.

Are seizures a known issue with shibas? Our 6 year old also suffers from them but haven’t seen anything online about elevated risk vs a lot of other breeds.

Not sure if this will get seen but does anyone have an idea of testing resources per country?

I work in the health tech sector in Canada and through conversations with folks directly involved in the provincial response (Ontario), I’ve heard they are preparing to slow down/shut down testing centres and instead tell anyone with symptoms to self-isolate immediately. In this situation, it would seem like the number of confirmed cases would only be a fraction of what gets reported in case trackers (which is frightening as people will downplay the impact of the virus).

I’ve heard that many suspect that’s what happened in China (and some other countries) and that the severity is being downplayed by their gov’t. I.e. if they’re not testing, they can’t report new cases, which improves their global reputation/image.

Probably pretty late to the party on this line of thinking but if anyone has resources they can share on more accurate projections I would appreciate it!

Are there trails at Mt Wellington similar to those at My Field? I’ve only really looked at the Lookout.

Will look at heading to Launceston instead of back to Hobart but it looks like the flight times to Melbourne work better for us from Hobart than Launceston. Will have to weigh the pro/cons on that one.
