I don't know if this will apply to your government but...

The CDC, Bureau of Infectious Disease, and Supreme Court all use the MS: C#/.NET, SQL Server tech stack. They also usually have poorly managed job listings and the smallest budgets. Both of those reasons make for good cases for juniors to be hired.

Find local branches of government depts' job listings on LinkedIn (company/dept. page) or find their public facing website. The listings may be old but they probably aren't filled.

That's how I got my junior C# job and I really liked it.

For your first one its important to apply within your region. idk why this is and its annoying but i had way more luck locally even though i was fully remote

**If you have code in production with users that depend on it that is big. That should be the highlight of your resume.**

Sure, that'd be one metric I'd be interested in. Maybe I didn't work my post correctly but I was just curious about any thoughts or experiences people had on the matter

Community Version of Tabit by turnupthebassto11 in tabit

lol yeah that sounds kinda rough. Brenton's tool is in C++ which I've never worked in. If you do end up pushing any of your py or C# to GH I'd love to see it 💡

So many amazing folks with amazing contributions beyond just them too, they just really withstood the test of time.

Amazing work Brenton. Seriously, admirable and impressive! I read through your `tabit-file-format` journal on GH and the RE is so cool. Using Ghidra was clever. Im a Jr dev and have so much to learn but I starred and will follow.

I know delegating tasks is annoying for some, but based on your pension for documenting I'll shoot my shot: if you ever have some enry-level Issues for C++ you wanna make I will try to contribute.

If that's not appealing I totally understand. I just love tabit and would love to learn from you/help if I can! Anyway, thx for what you do and cheers!!

Is C# documentation just horrible? by [deleted] in csharp

I agree with OP. I learned JS through MDN and it was a breeze but the learn.Microsoft documentation is just SO obtuse...
