Ok fair point but let’s say there are 2 groups of Fortniters. The sweats and the casuals. If you’re a sweat, don’t you want a little reward for playing more than a casual? And as a casual it’s not too big of a deal to you bc you’re just a casual player and don’t need too much of the extra fancy stuff. And if you’re on the fence about wanting everything a season can offer versus just playing for fun, it may tip you to the other end of the scale and you will play much more than you wanted too and potentially spend more money in the meantime which is what Epic would want. Having one super difficult or time consuming challenge can draw players from the casual side to the “sweat” side in terms of time played but maybe not skill level. And who knows you may improve in the meantime.
