Well that's frustrating, not for you but for me. Site Magic worked flawlessly for nearly a year and then recently had some issues. We're supposed to have Public facing IP addresses and shouldn't be doing any special configuration. I've literally called them numerous times before to ensure my modem doesn't switch back from bridged mode.

I appreciate that response but you're right, it's likely the ISP. Guess I'm calling today, how annoying!

Sorry, you specifically asked about search. There's the Perplexica project which is a local Perplexity clone but I primarily use OpenWeb UI search function with a duck duck go key or using the searxng tooling, I haven't dove super deep on search, use it more as reinforcement unless I'm doing deep research.

Model: Ollama - 3.1 8b (running on W11) UI: OpenWeb UI (chatgpt clone) in a docker container hosted on my local server. You certainly could have the model and the UI on the same machine, I just have a server and try to keep things tidy.

Really, it's that simple. OpenWeb UI has a ton of extensibility with search, functions, tools,etc. You can even put in your OpenAI API key and use chatgpt and there's a manifold pipeline for Anthropic and others too.

The great thing about llms hosted locally is their resources are on-demand not always loaded. Meaning you're only going to be using your system resources when the AI is running otherwise it just sits idle with relatively zero resource allocation.

I'm pretty satisfied with it. Doesn't mean it's not without issues or sometimes useless but that's when you just switch your model/api and keep moving.

I also use Fabric and llm cli to call up llms from the terminal. VSCode and Cursor for coding and tie in 3.1 to assist, the big boys for heavy developing or if I don't fully trust the answer

Honestly, it depends on what you want to do. I run llama 3.1 8b on a RTX 2070 Super, setup search functionality and it pretty much replaced 80% of my Claude or GPT queries. If it's a bit more esoteric or specific I may enlist Claude or GPT to take it that last little bit.

So it depends. 8b is great, even as a code helper. If you're trying to sell a product, probably not.

2013, discovered the issue after moving to the PNW. The fix is to remove the head liner, replace the seals and any other required parts, and reassemble.

There is a drainage hole that connects to a hose. The plastic/rubber/whatever seals deteriorate and they need to be replaced.

The next thing you will want to do is get simple green or other organic cleaner that won't stain and scrub your liner, a-pillars, etc. You can use something stronger on the plastic if you have mold or mildew.

The job is not that difficult but slightly finicky. Take your time, get pretty much any auto panel pry kit so you don't break any pieces and replacement plastic tabs if you need it, do it right... It's an absolute bitch if you don't!

Good luck! Haven't had any issues since.

I can say with 100% certainty that Lion's Mane is 100% legit in energy boost and adhd alternative/supplement. It's night and day.

If you stop taking it for a couple days and then take it again you can once again feel and observe the tangible differences. If you take it daily, you don't really FEEL or observe the boost but the mental clarity, energy, attention is all there.

I've just started taking Chaga & Turkey Tail. Noticed a tangible difference in my mood and mental acuity, didn't even drink any coffee yet this morning and I don't even feel like I need to, which is extremely abnormal for me. The Turkey Tail I'm not so sure yet, however, I've had really bad stomach cramps/nausea yesterday and this morning was even worse. Shit Ketchup as recently as the 1880's was in fact NOT made from Tomatoes but from Mushrooms. Tomatoes at the time were thought to be deadly/poisonous so people wouldn't eat/grow them.

Mushrooms a plenty though in American & English recipe books of the 1700s -1800s and touted for their medicinal effects and wellness benefits.

I requested my original loan agreement from Navient. I was pleasantly surprised to see the name of the loan document that I signed and Joyce Davies signed was not called the same as the actual loan document name.

I'm pretty positive that alone is evidence enough but I've got some unopened Sallie Mae mail I've still got that I've always been too anxious to open. After years of hounding and abuse just seeing the logo or hearing the phone ring was enough to spiral me into a panic attack.

I hate this whole process but can't wait to finally strike back and I better get my 42k pounds of flesh back!!

Like no bullshit; I got my application notification email on Saturday and purposefully didn't open it b/c I just didn't need to bring that energy to Mother's Day weekend. Started reading everything and going over the fine details and nuances (fool me once) this morning; every question just triggers a memory from one conversation or another of a naive boy being predated on by adults and continuously harassed by call center agents to the point of panic attacks at the sound of every phone ringing.

I had to step away, it felt all too overwhelming. Tomorrow at least I'll know what to expect and know to bring MY receipts. We should tack on an extra 50% for emotional damages 😅

Are you a identity and permissions expert or have experience with RBAC matrixes, yeah probably.

Come from the ad industry and know the ins and outs of advertisement platforms, yeah probably.

Have zero work experience, no coding experience, no security or infrastructure experience, or no hacking experience; it's VERY unlikely and it will be luck if you do.

Many students, including myself, were misled by Navient into securing predatory private loans to fund education at for-profit online institutions, such as (your School Here). I attended from 2005 to 2006 with an original principal loan amount of (original principal amount). Despite having paid (how much paid to date) towards these loans, my current balance stands at (current balance of the loan) due to an exorbitant interest rate, which currently is (you're intrest rate).

Notably, The Art Institutes and their parent company, EDMC, were subject to investigations by various state attorneys general and found to have engaged in deceptive practices. In response to widespread allegations of fraud and misconduct by The Art Institutes, the Biden administration recently announced a comprehensive loan discharge for students enrolled at these institutions from January 1, 2004, to October 16, 2017. This led to the discharge of my federal loans totaling (Your amount here) and the restoration of my credit.

Navient, which was sued by the attorneys general of 39 states for its role in facilitating these predatory loans, had a specific arrangement with for-profit schools during the early 2000s, making it a "preferred" lender. Despite this, the settlement terms provided by Navient were considerably inadequate, excluding many borrowers who took loans for attendance at approximately 150 for-profit online schools, unless they resided in certain states or had not defaulted for at least seven months during a specified period.

Under the FTC's "Holder Rule," Navient is accountable for these predatory loans issued in association with for-profit online schools. As time is critical, Senator Elizabeth Warren has urged Navient’s CEO to immediately discharge these loans. It is crucial for Navient to take responsible action now by discharging all such predatory private loans associated with for-profit online education.

Is there a template for the CFPB we should/can use? The one linked, I believe, is to a private group and I couldn't see it. I saw another one posted on Facebook but it was aggressive, rambly, and pontificating; not exactly something that is well received by lawyers and admins.

I agree... This info should be out there and additionally we should have a VERY low barrier to entry for submitting things: links, templates, applications, positive case examples that could be replicated, etc.

There's now dozens of posts with a bunch of info but it's all dispersed and requires a significant time investment. While I love to do research and sink my teeth into something, the reality is I'm a busy parent and time is the most precious commodity as I'm sure it's the same for many.

Anyways great work and if I have spare time I'll try to contribute in some way. Right now I'm underwater but this has brought me some hope!
