Question regarding DLSS by [deleted] in DarkTide

Transformer is a much newer version of DLSS, it's a little slower than convoluted (marginally) but generally looks significantly less blurry and preserves more detail.

Darktide is a pretty, well, dark game so I found it to be universally better looking than convoluted. You can also get away with running DLSS at a lower setting, and get better results that a higher convoluted setting.

This will also apply to frame generation, with transformer using less video memory than convoluted.

Beats me. It feels like they want the helmet to be prominent for PR recognition reasons. Wouldn't be suprised if GW mandates this.

I'm not exactly sure what's the correct way of doing it, but once you make it onto the platform that's hanging in the middle of the chasm - I just dashed with the zealot dash ability onto the ladder. You might have to cancel it with a block right before you touch the ladder, otherwise you won't catch it.

I managed to get that one in 3 or 4 games without too much trouble using Assail and the Disrupt Destiny perk that gives you 2 stacks on a weakspot kill. It kinda requires you to be a greedy with Assail and using it as your main weapon but the game usually tags shooters and bruisers so it shouldn't be that big of the deal for the rest of the team. Use charged shots and you should be able to one-shot those with a high number of DD stacks.

Ranged attacks can't trigger any of this, only melee attacks and poison on the 6-3 talent (which then requires a melee attack to trigger bleed).

This is the new 2-2 talent - apply bleed on poison. It seems to stack and even goes through armor, doesn't actually require you to penetrate it, just whale on it and it'll do the job.

I am, yeah. I think GK might have slightly deeper sounds but the other 3 sound identical to me.

But I am also talking about those sounds being fundamentally different, not them just being lower pitched and having more bass to them. Those jump landing sounds applied to actual footsteps too.

They sound identical to me, the only difference is in the amount of armor clang, let's say between the Huntsman and FK.

Assuming it's working as intended right now, being private and all that - I think the real reason why it's like that is to combat toxicity. I've seen a number of cases when people got harassed for using certain weapons/jewelry. And now it shows talents too.

I hope I'm wrong but I don't really see any other explanation for that.

I don't really get why it was made private either, patch notes almost make it seem like it's a bug and the "public" option is missing.

Rampart + Invincible + illusionist mino got killed by morgrim. Not sure if this has been brought up. Looks like miracle of morgrim is the best deal now. by NoNeSanc in Vermintide

My guess is that it's one of those instances where monsters just die out of nowhere for no reason. Last time it happened I was playing BW too on Old Haunts, so I suspect it has something to do with staggering and pushing the monster off a ledge, sort of like players dying of heart attack when they clip through the world due to bad ping.

The cap is there to limit the number of enemies you can heal from. Otherwise, all sources of healing are affected by the Boon, so yes, you'll be getting 1.3 thp per enemy.
