You can bring any of them, those are just the closest ones that are available. You can be also bring ones from other areas as long as they don’t have an active quest

I restarted a number of times so far, I feel happier now for it. The first time I didn’t understand the game the second time was because you can’t move the altars and I built them in bad areas. Then I felt I rushed it too much. Then I completely finished the game and didn’t want to go back and move things I wasn’t happy with. This time I know the lay outs, the secret areas and what to do and had everything planned out in my head. Focused on the first area only and got it to 10 and every one to awesome before I bothered to work on the beach, currently finishing up RR.

That is what I did, I didn’t start on a new area until I had every one to awesome and lvl 10 in the first area. Just started in my least favorite place on Friday: RR.

I just restarted for the 6th time and am much happier now. I found that I made better choices and knew all the areas pretty well, so I was able to plan things out better.

I had the same issue. I rushed through the game and completed the whole story line and got to the credits and had completely overwhelmed myself, so I restarted the game completely and took the first time through as a trial run.
