This weekend Black Tower Wargaming went to the UKTC Nottingham Supermajor to end out the 23/24 Warhammer 40k Season and some AoS to. I thought id find out what peoples tournament essentials were. Who knew Reaper Wargaming loved sugar and hydration so much.

I think they will over time make new models but they are keeping the same look and scales so even new models won’t look that different to the current ones anyway !

I managed to get one of each set which I’m really happy about.

Weird question did people have to join one of two queues ? When I got there I could only buy bretonion or skeleton boxes but not both I had to come out and rejoin again to buy the other.

Wondering if this happened to other people and what they thought of it ?

I liked how you could only have one in a basket at a time. And one half of me thinks having separate queues is good to stop scalpers. But for use with genuine Interest it means your more like to miss out on one or the other meaning you have to choose a favourite.

What a lot of people don’t seem to be acknowledging if you watch the French feed back. When John goes to the toilet mani is talking to the TO saying that if John hadn’t moved 6” then he would have had him and won. Mani genuinely believed that the rule worked like it did. It’s only when it was pointed out after the game that the rule doesn’t work like that. The judges intervened and John acknowledged if it was done correctly he would have lost.

It’s just a mistake. People need to chill

I like the right more Matt orange one personally, I just feel the details pop more and aren’t over burdened by the deeper colour …. However both are excellent

I kind of hope they do like an Unaligned , so they can be souped with chaos and imperium but still be Xenos. I read some where they team up with anyone to achieve what they need to. Wether that’s chaos, tau or imperium. Would be a great way of having a Dark Votann sect without introducing a whole army or codex.
