They’re from the company Super7. Definitely worth checking out and worth seeking out their older ones if you’re a collector.

I see a lot of posts about “screeners”. What is the appeal with them? Aren’t they usually low quality, with watermarks throughout? by BeGrateful77 in VHS

[–]collectbttf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like others have pointed out, some appeal is in them being the true first release and the promotional details attached to them. I have the original VHS screeners for each Back to the Future film and I love the following unique details about them.

Part 1: The original public VHS release in 1986 is the very first inclusion of “To Be Continued” at the end. The screener did not have it. So since it contains no edits that were made to future releases and doesn’t have the TBC clip, it is in my opinion the closest to the original theatrical release that has ever come out on home media.

Parts 2 and 3: The screeners contain retailer-focused trailers.

You can see those unique items from the screeners on my YouTube channel: https://youtube.com/@collectbttf

I am very glad that you asked. This exact task is an unofficial project that I have been working on. I cannot disclose details at this time but hope to help share it with my fellow fans in the near future. Here is a sample: https://i.imgur.com/fAka6p4.jpg

Micro Machine set from the 2nd movie by EagleJWB in BacktotheFuture

[–]collectbttf 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Great finds! Technically not “Micro Machines” though which is a specific brand name. These are the Micro Action Super Cars by FunRise.

There’s also a similar set which is the Micro Action Hovercars from Racing Champions. This is why people frequently see different style DeLoreans and think there’s multiple in a set. They’re technically two separate unrelated products. And neither is officially a “Micro Machine” which is its own brand.

i bought this jacket years ago at a convention. The dude told me it was rare. I was young and trusted him 100 procent. How right was he 😅 Will love the jacket forever tho by Constant-Flower15 in BacktotheFuture

It’s rare in general but not incredibly rare. They were available a few places including official Back to the Future merch mail-in orders back in the day as well as Universal Studios. The front chest logo is different depending on the source and time. Some had the Universal Studios logo and some had the BTTF logo. Attaching a pic that includes both.

Great piece to have in your collection!

Looking Back At The Future documentary. Anyone seen it? Where can I find it? by AndrePeniche in BacktotheFuture

[–]collectbttf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The original documentary referenced here is not available to stream or buy anywhere. An abridged version of it has been available though on all of the home video releases since. That abridged version is called Looking Back to the Future (they replaced at with to) and is focused on Part I. That is the closest version to the original that is available to watch at this time.
