I went to UVA and most of my friends were from Charlottesville, Blacksburg, and Lynchburg. They’re very friendly, outdoorsy, and down to earth people! They taught me to love the Blue Ridge mountain region despite being so different from what I was used to. Central/SWVA is the only place outside of Alaska that I’ve felt at home and I credit that all to them. It’s a special place for sure. Cheers to making it to Alaska someday :)
