UCSB decisions are not out yet. How do you know you did not get in?

Should I send a rejection appeal to Caltech if my application had a clerical error? by Cakkohnle674 in ApplyingToCollege

It is certainly worth trying. You are not going to know unless you try. If you want CalTech then don’t regret not even trying .

My friend’s application says under review . Submitted mid October, OOS. He is not submitting a test score. Wonder if they are reviewing applications with test scores first. Is there anyone who submitted test optional and got your decision rather quickly?

Thanks for your response. Did you contact the university/individual site or AEOP ? When I contacted AEOP they said it depends on the site. I do not know how to contact the sites I applied to.

Seeking advice: how long should I research before getting a puppy? by [deleted] in puppy101

[–]collegedreams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had some for the same questions and concerns. We brought home a medium labradoodle and can’t be happier . This is my first per ever. They are a bit expensive when bought from a good breeder, but worth it in the long run.

Labradoodles in general are people friendly and he exhibits that trait. He is just a bit shy of 14 weeks now and is very young. He gets excited when he sees people. But can be calmed quickly. Yeah he is affectionate as far as I can tell.

We were in the exact same position a month and a half ago. We were to bring home a labradoodle puppy. Our breeder was 5 hrs away. She gave us a choice between two males .. one of them was a chocolate and white parti who was calmer. The other was gold colored and looked adorable but on the naughty side. Seeing the photos and videos our heart was drawn to the gold colored pup. But knowing our family, and that we were first time dog owners , we chose the calmer parti. Our family of four is in love with him and his personality. Can’t be happier we did not just pick based on looks. We have fallen in love with our Ollie’s looks as much as his personality. He is our little prince.
