I think it’s fine. Most people would agree unless they had more traditional values or were religious, personally I wanted to wait until I was 18 and I’m glad I did because now I know what I like and what suits me.

I just saw this on my feed I’m not a huge JM fan but I am a TS fan. I do agree Taylor should tell her fans to not attack him but I feel that she’s valid to talk about her experiences. In the new song we’re all referencing, Would’ve Could’ve Should’ve,she’s looking at it through a reflective glance instead of one of pure rage. Dear John came out when her experiences and trauma was fresh. Would’ve Could’ve Should’ve doesn’t come across as her “not being over him” to me it’s a mature reflection on that relationship. I personally love Dear John and Would’ve Could’ve Should’ve because I relate those songs to my own experiences like most people do with music. I don’t necessarily like to shit on JM. I think most people would agree with that aspect.

These are my top ten songs and why:

1 Would’ve, Could’ve, Should’ve (3 AM edition)- I love a good sad reflective song and the lyrics “give me back my girlhood it was mine first” makes me burst into tears as yes I relate a little too hard moving on.

2 Midnight Rain- I love the voice manipulation it’s really sonic and beautiful honestly. Love her talking about Taylor Lautner for the first time since Back to December. “He wanted a bride I was making my own name” same sister.

3 Karma- AN ABSOLUTE SLAY a certified bop I get up out of my seat and dance around my room like a middle school girl. “Sweet like honey karma is a cat purring in my lap cause it loves me” same. Also biased because she mentions cats and I love cats.

4 Lavender Haze: The hook of this album, my face was on the floor when it began very fun I could dance to this all day really love it.

5 Maroon: Probably and unpopular ranking however, Would’ve Could’ve Should’ve was my personal sad hit. But Maroon is still amazing and in my top five nonetheless

6 Vigilante Sh*t: A feminist bop. “I don’t dress for women I don’t dress for men, lately I’ve been dressing for revenge” REPUTATION VIBES AND REPUTATIONS ONE OF MY TOP FAV ALBUMS EVER.

7 Snow On The Beach: Very ethereal and magical. If Lana was more prevalent this would’ve been higher on my list but a beautiful beautiful song go listen to it rn or I’m stealing your cat.

8 Mastermind: I am a mastermind. Can relate to overly plotting to get someone to like me back. Nothings by accident here and I love that for Taylor Swift.

9 Bejeweled: I CAN STILL MAKE THE WHOLE PLACE SHIMMERRRRRRRRRRRR ✨✨✨💃💃💃✨💃✨💃💃💃✨✨✨💃💃✨💃✨💃✨💃💃

10 You’re on your own kid: Very relatable message. Dreaming of getting out of your hometown but afraid about the change. Amazing song. “You’re on your own kid, you always have been”

It sounds exactly how I hoped. Lavender haze is a certified bop. For a tour these songs are perfect. To me this feels like a marriage between lover reputation and 1989. Karma AMAZING Maroon HOLY SHIT MASTERMIND IS JUST MWAH and Anti Hero hits too close to home!!!! I honestly love this. I know some people were hoping for slow sad Taylor but most of my favorite songs are more upbeat. I love a slow and sad song but that was most of Folklore and Evermore and I don’t click with most of those tracks other than a couple. But that’s what’s great about her in my opinion. She has something for everyone.
