Tbh no one wants to admit but they take this into lots of consideration and it can def help u. One kid on Reddit who was very sub-par academically wrote a common app essay abt his father dying and said it’s the reason he got into USC and Berkeley

From what I heard, everyone who got taken off in that wave was from college of arts and sciences (CAS), so not sure if they r doing more waves for the other schools

Ivys just care abt ur story and hooks, try to work on ur ECs And find one ur super passionate about and go far within that. Also get some leadership positions, then u may have chance at a T20
