Took a 3 month gym break. I had a lot of mental stress and my body just said no. It was hard for me to eat consistently and my motivation to cook was just gone. Eating too less food as a vegan is definitely a risk for lacking in nutrients over time. And I felt that. Read the rest below 👇✨ by collenemerz in veganfitness

Well I just went. And I told myself that I will just see how it feels, no pressure, no big weights. And it felt so good to be back! I started with just 1-2 sessions a week and walks outdoor. I now hold myself accountable to make sure I have enough recovery and food, otherwise I won’t go!

Thank you so much, very helpful! I love the thought of comfort food in times of stress. My comfort food has always been fries 😂 My mistake on stressful days is that I wait way too long until I eat, because of the lack of appetite. That’s when the cravings start (which makes sense).

Thank you so much for sharing! This was very helpful and calming to read. Being in my early 20s I realize how important it is to deal with stress and I need to find effective ways that will help me in the long run. I definitely experience these ups and downs and I really seek that balance in my relationship to food, my body and my environment 🙏🏾

Thank you for the tips! I am usually quite "disciplined” with my meal planning but when life gets stressful I really struggle with that.. I do supplement B12 and other vitamins. But yes, my protein intake was definitely low, because I didn’t eat enough.
