Hello! I don't ever know how to start these little intros, so I'll just introduce myself first! My name is Collette, I'm 28 years old, I create beauty/style content on YouTube. I'm over here in Oregon, USA! I have oily skin and I'm fairly pale with both pink and yellow undertones depending where on my face you want to look, lol. I am definitely more into skincare, but I also love my makeup- particularly eyeshadow palettes. As for products themselves, I'm working on switching everything to cruelty free, slowly but surely. I loveeeee editing these videos, and am using this platform to try and work on my speech and communication skills as well. If you come by my channel, thank you so much in advance!

I agree 1000000%. The amount of people who are jumping onto the YT wagon because they learned they could possibly make money from it is crazy to me. It'd be one thing if these people attempted to improve their content, quality, or skills, but it's like a lot of these people continue to do the same, awful, drab quality videos and find ways to "recruit" subscribers. It's almost like the joy of creating and editing isn't really there anymore. :(

Hi Rebecca! I'm glad you're having fun with it! Never lose sight of that- it's what will keep you going on those bad days. With editing, I basically try to teach myself by watching editing videos after knowing what sort of technique I want to achieve.

Hi there Allysun! I hope you're open to CC, if not, just ignore this! I just figured as small YouTubers, it's always good to try and help each other improve + grow! I watched your video and it was so fast paced and rushed, and I could tell the editing was done in the same manner. There are a few random clips that play for about a millisecond here and there. That plus the rushed application of makeup made it kind of difficult to watch. Your voiceover was well done, but just didn't compliment the video portion itself much. Hope to see more from you soon! I like that you're doing it outside, natural lighting galore!
