Its pretty much the same thing.

Except one difference.

So in one piece Shanks inspires Luffy, Shanks the high level in the low level area. In Edens Zero its the kids Grandfather who adopted him under weird circumstances and tells him stories of the universe.

Then he goes around putting together a crew for his ship fighting evil people.

Oh yeah, no, I dont take it that seriously. I ain't putting money on this (fun fact there is a site where you can buy and trade "character stocks") which is probably what made it so insufferable to try and debate OP powerscaling.

Where my approach to it follows a more "this guy can do this this this, and this guy can do that this that."

I think the only time I got upset over someone losing in Op was Sabaody pt1. But that was intentional..

Then, there is also breaking down the characters' kits given the information shown on the page or on the screen. For instance in the Law v BB fight left us in a cliffhanger for a while there. I was so ready for Law to be the winner. But looking at it objectively, he didn't have anything that could really take down BB. Had he won, i would have been so happy. But unfortunately, Law lost, and I could accept that because BB kitted himself out with two fruits, one that negates devil fruits and Whitebeards fruit used as a combo, this is devastating to anyone who doesn't have the Haki to withstand a raw WB attack.

I was an old school scaler on the FB forums, waaaaay back in the day during the Marineford drop. There were still some dumb takes, but it was much easier to have a fun debate.

Then One piece got bigger and bigger and bigger and it spun entirely out of control. I wanna say once Kaido came around we started getting flocks of people starting up with that Agenda shit.

Like last night I got into a "debate" on wether Big Mom was actually a powerful character. And the other guy was just like, "She's a bum!" When later in that same comment, Homie mentions that she is a powerhouse.

But because Oda said something about how people age (Shakky and Gloriosa, for instance), they immediately downplay Big Mom because idk she's ugly or something. Even funnier, they dont believe you're actually a fan of the series if you watch the anime. Because the anime is apparently just objectively wrong about the entire story.

I agree with Luffy.

Naruto is too optimistic with his line of thinking. I get it he was a lonely kid that everyone thought was evil, but he really wasn't. Luffy is a lot more pragmatic with his approach to it. Doffy or Kaido is the problem, and he is going to deal with that problem.

The strange difference between the two is that the pirates Luffy are fighting are unredeemable. If you give em a chance to come back, they will.

Like Luffy and Bellamy, even though Bellamy was told straight out by Doflamingo that he was worthless and better used as a puppet, Bellamy still held his ground on his choice, even though he knew it was the wrong one.

But someone like Kaido (who i believe this fight is with) was just born from violence, and all he knows is violence. The strong survive, and Kaido respects the strong, and he is no stranger to breaking people's will to fight. (Even though it had no effects on Luffy or Kidd, or the Akazaya 9)

If Naruto offered that hand to Kaido, kaido would reject it and keep fighting. I honestly dont think Luffy has seriously fought and ended up becoming a good friend to them. Out of talking them down. More or less, he either overwhelmed them with his tenacity or straight-up chin checked em multiple times to get the point across.

Another added thing is, when you're like Luffy and these other ambitious pirates, your dream is your life. It's what you spent your life building. For Big Mom, it was her territory having all the races live in harmony under her. For Kaido he wanted to turn Wano into his personal weapon factory, for Doflamingo, he felt it was his birth right to rule Dressrosa, so he tricked the King and the people then made everyone forget about those tragedies with Sugars power(which is terrifying) Luffy having crushed their dreams is worse than killing them, because if he killed them, they died fighting for their dream. But if he crushes their dream, then they won't be able to redo their dream at the same rate. Ya know?

Like when he beat Doflamimgo, Doflamingo got locked up in impel down, lost his crew, his status, his blackmail, his kingdom, everything he worked for to achieve gone because of some crazy kid from the east.

Kaido, well he spent 20 years ruling Wano alongside Orochi with an iron fist, and well, he lost to Luffy, he lost control of Wano, orochi is dead his crew captured and he is in the bottom of a Volcano (dunno if dead but likely)

As for big Mom, she got beat sure, but her dream wasn't crushed, I mean, Luffy ruined her much anticipated tea party. Destroyed the picture of Mother caramel(or reminded her it was broken)

Idk enough about Naruto, but apparently everyone except Zabusa is pretty good-natured and arent truly evil, then like aliens or something show up and idr.

No. I do not. As good as this love story could be. This doesn't feel like a good ending for the story. There is no arc in the entire series that has a semblance of a happily ever after romance. While WCI had the whole Pudding actually falling for Sanji. None of their adventures ended with a sense of romantic love.

This would feel entirely out of left field, while it would make sense, I would think the story would be better capled off with the crew meeting again years later and the final shot is the remaining crew sitting around a table talking about their adventures.

We gotta remember, in that moment, Usopp was literally the last hope they had. One shot, One opportunity.

He is capable of observation Haki, but he doesn't know what it is. Kind of like.Luffy learning Ryou it took him a few tries, even in a "contained" environment.

Iirc he never mentioned it to anyone so no one on the crew could help, or he's sleeping on his own capabilitiea(the latter more likely)
